Our first voluntary ESG report, funded by a grant, was an unexpected success. We were delighted to have been successful in the tender announced by the Budapest Stock Exchange, despite the extremely tight project deadline.
Our company was also selected in the advanced category for environmental (E), social (S) and governance (G) criteria.
"One of my personal experiences was to see our entire operation summarised in one report. In the process of preparing the report, we realized how diverse our activities are. In addition to the advantages in financial markets and financing, this approach will definitely give us a competitive advantage over other companies in foreign markets. Pureco has projects abroad, and in the last eight years we have set up major water projects in Africa and Asia, building water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. We are in contact with construction companies much bigger than us, from Germany, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, who want to use our technology. I believe that with this report we can approach these companies more seriously," said our Managing Director, Bálint Horváth, in an interview with Portfólió, one of the lead Hungarian business journal.
Our intention is to continue this approach and to continue on the path of ESG and to deliver on our commitments to contribute to a more sustainable and ethical world, where competitiveness and efficiency are of course not neglected. We are striking the right balance by developing our Group through the ESG framework.
