The slotted pipes are designed for the discharge of the rain water and oil substances (leakage) from the reinforced surfaces, i.e. dewatering the most demanding roads, motorways, class I roads, tunnels, airports, parking spaces, etc. The element is suitable into the locations with high rain rate with the condition of the fastest drainage of rainwater from reinforced surfaces. The channels with profile IV are mostly used on airport surfaces. The system of line dewatering of profile IV is produced in descend-free variant and in the design with interior descend 0.5%. The elements of profile IV-1 (with interupted slot) are dimensioned for the classes of transport load D400, E600 and F900. Interrupted inflow slot guarantees the element stability even during transverse travel. The system comprises of four basic elements: the slotted pipe with interupted slot length 4 m without interior decline or with interior decline, complete drain piece including the plastic lid (alloy mesh), sludge basket and rectification cone . The elements of profile IV-0 (with continual slot) are dimensioned for the class of transport load D400, and they are not designed for cross travels.  The cleaning part including the plastic lid (alloy mesh) plug. Profile IV slot drains are suitable for draining rainwater contaminated with small quantities of oil products (drips) from surfaced areas such as high-capacity traffic structures (motorways, dual carriageways, main roads, tunnels, runways, lay-bys, large parking lots, etc.). This product is suitable for applications with extreme rainfalls and a requirement for immediate draining of surfaced areas. Profile IV slot drains are most commonly used on runways and taxiways at airports. They are available with or without internal gradient (0.5%). They are only available with no internal gradient. Profile IV-0 slot drains (continuous slot) are designed for D400 class traffic load and no transversal vehicle travel.
