Our sister company, Pureco Romania, participated as an exhibitor at ExpoAPA 2026 in Bucharest, one of the leading water industry events in the Danube region and Eastern Europe.
Held from 8 to 10 September at the ROMEXPO Exhibition Centre in Bucharest, ExpoAPA provided an outstanding international platform for sharing knowledge, professional expertise, and best practices in the water sector.
Organised by the Romanian Water Association (ARA), the event brought together 86 exhibitors from 13 countries and attracted more than 4,000 visitors. Water utilities, national and local government representatives, financial institutions, technology providers, professional associations, and members of the scientific community gathered to discuss the most pressing challenges facing the sector.
This year’s event came at a time of increasing pressure on water resources. More frequent droughts, rising temperatures and changing consumption patterns have made efficient water use and climate-resilient infrastructure increasingly urgent. These challenges shaped the exhibition and its accompanying international conference, where discussions focused on reducing network losses, expanding real-time monitoring and digitalisation, improving infrastructure security, mobilising investment and preparing the sector for the post-2027 funding landscape.
Pureco Romania among the exhibitors
It was a significant milestone for us that our sister company, Pureco Romania, participated in the event as an independent exhibitor for the first time. The company's showcase focused on sustainable stormwater management solutions and drinking water treatment technologies based on regenerable adsorbents.

The exhibition's central theme and message, a water-resilient future, provided an excellent opportunity to present the solutions offered by Pureco Romania and the wider Pureco Group. These solutions support water retention, infiltration, and reuse while helping cities, utilities, and industrial users improve the resilience of their infrastructure against increasingly frequent droughts and extreme rainfall events.
We believe that both our technological solutions and the professional dialogue they generated contributed to turning strategic objectives and investment programs into resilient, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure projects.
See you again next year!
