Stormwater management

During the construction, a 671 cubic meter corrugated steel stormwater storage tank, exclusively marketed by Pureco, was installed to keep rainwater in place. The above capacity was achieved by installing 7 storage tanks made of spirally corrugated, circular tubes. Our steel tanks are easy to transport, their low weight has made it easy and quick to build.

The rainwater falling on the site must not only be stored but also cleaned of contaminants washed away by the rain from the paved surface before reuse (firewater) or introduced into the surface waters (eg. fuel derivatives from motor vehicles, tree leaves, discarded waste, etc.). At Schiller, this has been achieved by installing Pureco's self-developed reinforced concrete tank system, our ENVIA TNC product is capable of separating sediment, floating and suspended matter from 15 litres of rainwater per second.

Our two reinforced concrete tanks, 11 and 18 cubic meters make the products installed so far a complex system. Classic reinforced concrete tanks made in the factory of the Slovak subsidiary of Pureco in Slovakia are made of high-quality concrete, their installation guarantees long-term, faultless operation.

Our stormwater management project related to the Schiller Budapest site is an excellent example of how our products with a specific subtask are connected into a complex system.
