In November last year, the Hankook Tire tyre company started construction of warehouses for storing raw materials and finished tyres in Rácalmás, Fejér County. The first deliveries for the project were GRP pipes (DN700) and 2 oil separators (1 each TNC 50-2-P and TNP 125-2-P) in 2021.
This year, Pureco provided the slot drains for the construction of the utilities and the dewatering of the area. More than 200 metres of C45/55 concrete grade slot drains with a 30 mm gap and internal slope in stages will help to ensure the proper drainage of rainfall on the site.
The stormwater drainage system, complete with confluence, cleansing and end elements, has an E600 load capacity, allowing trucks entering the storage area to drive safely through. The installation of the slotted drains is scheduled for spring, mid-April. The so-called I-1 profile slot drains for the project will be constructed with the original, patented double-ring AQUAFEST seal, which provides perfect watertightness and ensures precise positioning at the point of connection. The reinforced concrete elements are easy and reliable to install and have a high resistance to oil spillage.
