
A highly anticipated Planet exhibition focusing on climate and nature protection will showcase products and innovations from the home and Visegrad countries. The exhibition was preceded by 3 World Water Summits in 2013, 2016 and 2019, which focused on the benefits of water. This year's Planet Expo and Summit will also cover other areas of environmental protection, said Bálint Horváth, our Managing Director. The success of Pureco Ltd. was also based on the aforementioned World Water Summit series, as it was at one of these exhibitions that they got to know their future partner in Ghana better, and as a result, the first Hungarian wastewater treatment plant is already in operation, the programme's narrator reported.
The event's public programmes will run from 30 November to 5 December 2021, with one of the highlights being youth education in the Heroes Future pavilion. In the Healthy Environment section of the report, it was said that the impact of climate change has increased the value of innovation in the water industry. The HWP Nonprofit Ltd, which is featured in the programme, is working to provide investment opportunities abroad for exportable Hungarian companies developing in the field of domestic and municipal water supply and related water resources protection. Károly Kovács, President of HWP, said that the member companies offer solutions that can supply clean drinking water to municipalities. One such company is Puraset Ltd, founded in 1998, whose product Puraid, the first pilot project of which is already operating in Ghana in a settlement of 10,000 inhabitants. Csilla Kopornyik, Managing Director of Puraset Ltd, reported on her positive experiences with Puraid in Africa and the public's acceptance of the product.
